The
Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever

Thomas Covenant is the main character in this series of books that takes place in The Land. He is a writer from our world who is inexplicably transported to the land and tangled in the plot of Lord Foul (the Despiser) to destroy the physical universe. Thomas Covenant is an enigmatic character who fights against the heroic duties that the land requests of him. He is a leper and doesn't believe that The Land is real.
