Beowulf The Movie and More (View the Official Trailer!)

No doubt you are familiar with the epic story of Beowulf. Or maybe you have heard it but haven't read it yet. It is the story of stories, and the poem that defines the modern genre of epic fantasy. It is the quest of a man through the stages of his life and his struggle with the beasts of the world.

The story spans 50 years of Beowulf's life and brings us with him from young manhood through his later years and in this span he faces three major beasts: Grendel, Grendel's Mother, (played by Angelina Jolie) and later in life a dragon.

It is an amazing story and it has survived a thousand years for good reason. It is going to be real interesting to see how Robert Zemeckis has handled the story and the movie.
